Winter Crow Roost: staging and roosting action on a mostly cloudy night Conditions: mostly cloudy, wind SW 6MPH, temp at 39F; sunset time 5:11PM Upon arrival at North Main St., east of Rt. 495 Bridge, at sunset time, Crows seen streaming overhead in flight and heading downriver. Crow Patrol: 25 people from Merrimack River Watershed Council!

Conditions: mostly cloudy, calm, 36F; sunset time 4:58PM Out on Crow Patrol with a group organized by the Merrimack River Watershed Council. We started to gather along south side of Merrimack River just after 4:30PM. In smaller numbers, the Crows were streaming in overhead and flying downriver.
